Cruise for a Cause

Sunday, September 12, 2010, 9:00am-4:00pm
1319 Lincoln Ave, San Jose
What started as a few friends getting together to show off their classic and custom cars has grown into a free annual car show on the streets of downtown Willow Glen. Organizer Jeff Cimoli says attendance has grown each year, as have donations. This year, Cimoli is hoping to increase the number of cars on show and says the majority will be pre-1970s with some as old as the 1920s. There will be oldies music, vendors, raffles and other activities throughout the show with food collection barrels in the La Villa lot. Participants and spectators are asked to bring nonperishable food items or money for Second Harvest Food Bank.
