Dave Babulak

Dave Babulak is the Managing Member of Strongpoint Holdings, LLC, an investment company focused on real estate, public markets and private companies. Previously, Dave spent 10 years at Getco, LLC, (later KCG and now Virtu) where he was a board member and held a variety of roles including Chief Strategy Officer and Global Head of Fixed Income. Prior experience includes co-founding Blink Trading, an electronic trading firm later purchased by Getco.

He also served as an Engineer Officer in the United States Army and holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial and operations engineering from the University of Michigan and a master’s degree in engineering economic systems and operations research from Stanford University.

Dave grew up in the Midwest and spent the first 15 years of his career in finance in Chicago. He and his wife relocated to the Bay area in 2009 and currently reside in Los Altos. Outside of work, Dave can be found in his basement gym or hiking in the Santa Cruz Mountains. He joined the Second Harvest Board in 2016 and served as Chair from 2020-2022. He believes the problems in our community will only be solved by those who live here and Second Harvest of Silicon Valley provides effective, direct action to address the needs of the community.
