Direttore dell'ingegneria, Google
Adriana Porter Felt is a Director of Engineering at Google. Twelve years ago, Adriana joined the Chrome team as a security engineer when it was still a small, new browser. Over the years, she has been responsible for key parts of the browser as Chrome scaled up to billions of users. Today, she manages Chrome’s Data Science, Content, and iOS teams. Adriana is best known externally for her security work, earning her recognition as one of MIT Technology Review’s Innovators Under 35.
As a technologist, her community service historically focused on the global research community, notably as a Program Committee Co-chair and Steering Committee member for USENIX Security (a top security research venue) from 2017 to 2019. In 2020, Adriana began the transition to local volunteer work by graduating from the Latino Board Leadership Academy. As the daughter of an immigrant mother, she is particularly passionate about issues that affect the Latinx community. She joined the Second Harvest Board in 2021 and is passionate about feeding our community through sustainable agriculture.
Adriana earned a doctorate in computer science at the University of California, Berkeley, and is currently working toward UMass Amherst’s sustainable food and farming degree certificate. She resides in Berkeley with her family.
