Ingredients

Easy One Bowl Banana Bread

  • 3 overripe bananas, peeled
  • 1/3 cup butter, melted and cooled, plus extra to grease pan
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips, walnuts, or a combo of both

How to Make Easy One Bowl Banana Bread

Directions

  1. 1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease sides of a loaf pan with butter or cooking spray to prevent sticking and set aside.
  2. 2. In a large bowl, mash bananas very well with a fork, until almost a liquid consistency. Add melted butter and mix with a whisk.
  3. 3. Add egg, vanilla, baking soda, salt, sugar and flour to the bowl and mix until batter is well combined. Stir in chocolate chips and/or walnuts.
  4. 4. Pour batter into loaf pan, making sure it’s evenly distributed. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean without batter sticking to it.
  5. 5. Let cool for at least 20 minutes . Slice and enjoy!
