Ingredients
- 2 turnips, peeled and cut into sticks
- 2 cucumbers, peeled and cut into sticks
- 2 tsp Tajin seasoning
- Juice of 1/2 a lime
Inspired by the Mexican street food snack “fruta con chile y limon” (fruit with chili and lime) these snack sticks are crips, refreshing and delicious. A hint of sour and spice complement any sweet fruit or veggie you choose to use. For this recipe we used cucumber and turnips, but you can also use more traditional fruit such as jicama, mango and watermelon. The flavor combinations are endless!
How to Make Spiced-Up Snack Sticks
- 1. Add all ingredients into a large bowl and toss together to evenly distribute the seasoning. Enjoy as a snack or side dish!
Tip: You can also try jicama, tomatoes, watermelon or mangoes for this recipe.
